RP-4-47
Rust Inhibitor
Water Treatment for Closed Water Recirculating Systems
RP-4-47
is a non-chromate, closed system rust inhibitor that is used in
circulating water cooling units where very little fresh water is
added. RP-4-47 contains rust inhibitors, corrosion
preventers, water softeners, scale preventatives and sequestering
agents.
RP-4-47
chemically reacts with oxygen to form a protective film on the inside
of metal pipes. This film prevents rust and corrosion from occuring
inside the system. RP-4-47 is compatible with most
glycols and other anti-freezes that might be added to the system.

RP-2-27 Rust Inhibitor
Water Treatment for Closed Water Recirculating Systems
RP-2-27 is used throughout
the Industrial Water Treatment Industry as a corrosion inhibitor
in chiller and closed loop cooling water systems. This product is
an excellent choice for treating water systems where high levels
of chlorine or oxygen are present.
In solution, RP-2-27 anions complex with oxidized
iron to form a protective film of molybdate and feric oxide. This
product is designed to clean a scaled system, while keeping molybdate
in suspension. RP-2-27 is considered an effective,
environmentally acceptable alternative to sodium nitrate treatment,
exhibiting low or even negligible toxicity.
