BT-4-10
Heavy Duty Boiler Compound • Water Treatment for Boilers
BT-4-10 is designed to control the harmful effects
of corrosion and scaling in boiler water systems. BT-4-10
contains an oxygen scavenger that chemically reacts with the oxygen
in the water and prevents it from causing corrosion. BT-4-10
also maintains the water at an alkaline level, which neutralizes the
acids that are formed inside the boiler by the carbon dioxide in the
water. This product also aids in formation of a "soft sludge"
that can be removed during blow down periods, unlike the hard rock-like
formations that occur in untreated water.
BT-4-10 is intended for use in high water make-up
systems and where chromate treatments are forbidden. This product
increases the transfer efficiency of the boiler, and is USDA approved
for use in food processing operations.
BT-4-11
Complete Boiler and Condensate • Water Treatment for
Boilers
BT-4-11 is a polymer dispersant boiler water treatment
compound. It is a "one drum" product that has broad practical
use and application for steam boiler treatment. It contains polymeric
dispersants, organic scale control additives and oxygen scavenger
alkalinity builders, corrosion inhibitors, sequestering agents and
softeners. BT-4-11 is intended for use in steam boilers
up to 150 psi.
BT-4-11 is designed to control corrosion and scaling
even in systems with high volume and high hardness make-up waters.
By preventing scale deposition, it allows higher heat transfer and
greater boiler efficiency. This product contains an oxygen scavenger
that chemically reacts with oxygen in feeding and boiler waters, preventing
harmful corrosion and pitting. The polymer dispersants aid in the
formation of a "soft sludge" that is non-adherent for easy
removal from the system during blowdowns. With extended use and proper
levels, old hard scale deposits can be slowly removed on line. Boiler
and return condensate waters are maintained at alkaline levels to
neutralize the corrosive acid formed.
CT-4-10
Condensate Return Treatment • Water Treatment for Boilers
CT-4-10 is a highly-effective blend of chemicals
for dissolving oxygen and mineral breakdown in boiler condensate return
systems. This product prolongs the life of return lines, traps, valves
and condensate tanks. CT-4-10 also helps maintain
pH levels in boiler return systems.
BWT-102
Oxygen Scavenger • Water Treatment for Boilers
BWT is an effective formulation designed to chemically
react with oxygen to prevent the formation of iron oxides or corrosion.
This product should be used as a supplement when proper use of BWT
100 and CLT 100 or BWT 101 does not maintain sulfite residue at a
minimum fo 30 pm. BWT is designed for steam boilers
only.
